ELA Night
Nipmuc Regional High School is hosting our third annual English Language Arts Night this Thursday, April 4th from 6-8 PM. This year, we have over 40 events taking place, including student presentations, dramatic readings, live podcast productions, Socratic discussions, interactive panel talks, conversations about literature, spoken word poetry, and more.
This event serves a threefold purpose: to serve as an induction ceremony for our school’s National English Honor Society chapter, to showcase the products of our students’ ongoing efforts in the study of English language arts, and to empower our students by providing for them a platform to share their insights, perspectives, and voices.
English Language Arts Night is open to our students, their families, and MURSD faculty and staff.
Attention Seniors - Countdown to Graduation

Can you believe that 60 days from today we will be at The Hanover Theatre getting ready to celebrate the wonderful Class of 2024! Although this is only two short months away there are many exciting events planned and deadlines to attain before graduation day. We wanted to share the timeline again that we had shared with both seniors and their families back in January. This document is an evolving document that we continue to add to so please continue to look at it as your source of information. This will help you plan for important dates, deadlines and information. You can find that document by clicking on the button below.
Taking a Digital Break
"Digital Detox" Opportunity for Students
Cell phones are an invaluable tool for keeping in touch and accessing information quickly, but they can also be a huge distraction, especially for teenagers. It's easy to get lost in endless scrolling or jump at every notification, making it hard to concentrate on school work. It's important to take a break sometimes and remember that there's a whole world outside the screen! Mrs. Towne is offering a "digital detox" workshop series during breaks to give students easy-to-use strategies to improve cell phone habits. Students who want more information can fill out the interest survey here. For more information email Ms. Towne at atowne@mursd.org.

Spring Wellness Week
April 8 - 12
Nipmuc Regional High School’s School Counseling Department will hold our annual Spring Wellness Week from April 8-12. We are looking forward to a variety of fun activities and programs focused on mental health and wellness.
On Monday, April 8th, thanks to funding from Nipmuc’s Active Minds chapter, we will be hosting a speaker from Minding Your Mind, a nonprofit mental health education foundation whose primary objective is to provide mental health education to adolescents. Through this program, Changing Minds: Stories Over Stigma, students will hear from Wes, a dynamic young adult speaker with lived experience who will share an inspiring personal story about struggle, resilience, and hope. This evidence-based program is aimed at ending the stigma around mental health challenges while encouraging students to seek help for themselves or a friend as early as possible.
Nipmuc's school counselors will continue to be available to any student seeking support before, during, and after this presentation. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your student’s school counselor with any questions or concerns.
