Chromebook Optional Insurance Program

The Medway Public Schools Chromebook optional insurance program provides coverage against accidental damage (drops, spills, etc…) as well as protection against natural disasters (see list of coverage below). There is no deductible and no limit to the amount of claims that can be made for a Chromebook. Our Chromebooks also come with a one-year OEM warranty that covers all manufacturer defects and mechanical failure. Insurance can be purchased during the open enrollment window before Chromebook distribution directly through the providers website.

Coverage Option - coverage includes Accidental Damage from cracked screens and liquid spills, liquid submersion, fire, flood damage, vandalism, natural disasters, and power surge due to lightning.

If a device is lost or stolen (as determined by our insurance provider), families will be responsible for the total cost of the device. Please note that full loss due to theft is not covered.
