Summer Updates & Reminders - August 9, 2023
Freshman, New Student, and Parent Orientation
We are excited to welcome freshmen and new students to Nipmuc Regional High School! To help prepare for the fall, we will be hosting an orientation for all incoming freshmen and new students on August 24 from 5pm - 6:30pm. With help from our student council, we’ll host a session that will answer questions about Nipmuc, introduce students and parents to the building, give students the chance to follow their schedule, and help everyone excited about high school!
Parents and students are welcome (but not required) to attend. Our session will end with pizza and ice cream for all attendees.
We recognize that not all students, parents, and guardians will be able to attend on the 24th. If you are unable to attend orientation on the 24th and have your class schedule, feel free to come by between 8am - 2pm during the week of August 14th - 17th, or Friday, August 18th, between 8am -12pm to walk the halls of the school, orient yourselves to the building, and get your first-days-of-school questions answered.
If you do not yet have your class schedule and are interested in finalizing your classes, feel free to reach out to Jennifer O'Brien (jobrien@mursd.org), School Counseling Administrative Assistant, to set up an appointment to meet with school counselors upon their return on August 21st.
We hope to see you on August 24th!
