Session 4 Enrichment
5th and 6th Grade Chorus Gala
The 5th and 6th Grade Chorus students have the opportunity to participate in the first annual 5th and 6th Grade Chorus Gala. This event will take place after school in the Miscoe Auditorium on Thursday, March 30th. This event aims to encourage collaboration between the 5th and 6th grade chorus singers and give the singers an informal environment to perform and workshop the songs that they are working on in class. Additionally, they will get to mingle with their classmates, participate in some fun ensemble building activities, and get to teach each other skills they have learned in their repertoire.
Snacks will be provided by the music boosters.
This event is not mandatory, but it is highly encouraged.
Additionally, there are no dress requirements.

Youth Art Month
Youth Art Month (YAM), is celebrated nationally each March to bring awareness of the fact that visual art education is a viable factor in the total education curriculum that develops citizens of a global society.
In Massachusetts during the month of March MAEA annually sponsors a Statewide preK-12 YAM Exhibit of student artworks submitted by art educators in public, private and independent schools from across the state. There are also regional and district wide YAM exhibits, as well as school-based exhibits and events throughout the year celebrating Art Education.
Mr. Williams and Mr Hansen are proud to showcase 12 of our Miscoe art student's work at this year's Youth Art Month (online once again) at THIS LINK!
