Nipmuc Prom 2023
This week, Nipmuc’s sophomores will be taking the Mathematics MCAS test using their iPads (computer-based format). We are proud of the hard work completed by students and teachers as they get ready for this assessment. The schedule for this MCAS testing is listed below.
Mathematics (Grade 10)
Tuesday, May 16: Mathematics - Session 1
Wednesday, May 17: Mathematics - Session 2
Included below are a few key points for MCAS testing days:
We will start the day for all students who are testing with a break in the cafeteria that will run from 7:25–7:40am. The cafeteria will be open and breakfast will be served as it is on a regular school day.
Students should bring their fully-charged iPad and/or laptop with them to school as they will use it for testing.
Students may also bring a calculator (basic, scientific, or graphing) with them for session 2 of the Mathematics MCAS test on May 17.
Testing groups and locations were posted in the cafeteria today and also outside the main office.
If your child is absent over the course of the testing days, we will schedule a time for your child to make up for the missed session(s) upon their return.

It is also an opportunity to have some fun as a community! In the past we have had student performances, sessions where participants can learn new dances, highlights of crafts, history, and culture from different countries, and a wide selection of food items. This year we are hoping to expand our options by partnering with the community.
