Twin Hills Elementary School
"Students Today; Leaders Tomorrow!"
November 2022
Principal's Message
"We all do better when we all do better ..." ~Paul Wellston
I want Twin Hills to be the best school it can be, and I imagine everyone involved in our school feels the same. Feeling that way is a good start, but it is not enough. We all have a responsibility to show up within our school community with a demeanor that will help us be our best. Our personal challenges, no matter how great, do not excuse us all from being respectful, courteous, and compassionate for others who share this school community space.
The truth is negative mindsets extend beyond our school community. How we speak about and to each other is much of the reason why a violent world is a norm our young people face. We say we want better, but we may be waiting for everyone else to do something to improve things instead of looking within and examining our individual parts to better our situations. Our children deserve our best as a direct means of helping them be their best. That requires us all to do better so we can all be better. ~Dr. Sonya R. Nock

Title-1 Tutoring & Enrichment
Twin Hills Elementary School is offering Title 1 tutoring for students during the 2022-2023 school year. The tutoring program aims to address students' individual needs in the areas of language arts and mathematics to support grade-level skill mastery. Due to the volume of students needing support, tutoring and enrichment services will be offered in four rotating cycles. All students are eligible for tutoring services, with enrollment prioritized based on academic needs and tutor availability. Fall I-Ready data was used to identify students, and letters were sent home with students on 11/4/22 to notify parents of their child's designated tutoring cycle.
