Principal's Post
I cannot believe it’s already October! Didn’t the school year just start?
I just wanted to say thank you to all of our families for our fantastic and successful Beaver-MAIN-ia fundraiser. We raised over $60,000 which we will be using for various projects around the school. Some of them will be super exciting - like bounce houses and Kona Ice, some of them will be more boring but important - like new safety railings by our outside classrooms. It was exciting to watch the kiddos run through the obstacle course - less exciting to have 80 gallons of slime dumped on me… :)
Thank you for a fantastic 1st quarter. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Thanks,
Mr. Webb, Principal

School Fees
Start with Hello Week
The children wore name tags on Monday and hopefully made a few new friends.
On Tuesday, they were greeted by some of our brave first responders as well as some school board members and some people from our Central Office. Those community members greeted the students and let them know how valued they are and how happy we are to have them at school. They also wore positive messages on their clothes.
On Wednesday, many, many of our students wore green to show unity and togetherness. The students also decorated a circle with their name on it and we displayed those on a bulletin board in school to show we all belong!
On Thursday, they had a chance to write thank you notes at lunch and on Friday, they gave out compliments. So, it was a very busy, yet fun, week.
We hope the message was clear: Hello, we are glad you are here and Main Elementary is YOUR school and where you belong.

BeaverMAIN-ia:
BeaverMAIN-ia fundraiser was AMAZING! Our fundraising total that students collected was over $62,000 this year. A sincere THANK YOU for your generosity and support for Main students and staff! We had donations from over 35 different states and 6 other countries!
Teachers also participated in a friendly classroom competition to see which classroom could raise the most money. Results were: (KG-2nd) 1st place - Miss Eckelberry, 2nd place - Mrs. Crouch, 3rd place - Mrs. DeWitt (3rd-5th grades) 1st place - Mrs. Worley, 2nd place - Miss Hobbs, 3rd place - Mrs. Lykins. Our grand champion classroom that earned the most in the entire school was Mrs. Worley’s class! Congratulations!
BeaverMAIN-ia obstacle course was run on September 22nd by all students. Kona Ice treats and sliming Principal Webb also took place on September 22nd. Thanks to all that helped with this fun event. School wide rewards that were earned will be celebrated throughout October on various dates. Schedule and permission slips for the pizza limo lunch will be coming home soon for qualifying students; permission slips MUST be returned before the date of the pizza lunch.
Family Movie Night: Thanks to Mrs. Kidd’s family and church (Faith Baptist Church) for helping PTO host Family Movie Night! What a fun time with popcorn, snow cones and glow bracelets!
Restaurant Night Out:
Thank you to everyone that supported Main PTO at Mcdonald’s this month! Mr. Webb and PTO officers helped deliver food to our Main Families in the dining room, and it was great to see everyone!
