HOMECOMING WEEK 2023
Nipmuc's Homecoming 2023
Homecoming week is here! The student council has been busy putting the final touches on the details of Nipmuc’s 2023 Homecoming events! We will kick off the week with theme spirit days all week this week and you can find that flyer below. In addition to the spirit week and sports games leading up to Saturday's dance, the annual pasta dinner will be this Friday night (September 29) at 6:30pm and is hosted by our Warriors Club, boosters organization. Any Nipmuc student is welcome to attend the pasta dinner at no cost which will take place in the cafeteria. The Warriors Club is still seeking donations for that night. If you are interested in helping out please visit the signup genius.
The Homecoming Dance will be this Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 7pm - 10pm. Come join us and your classmates for dancing, yard games, and “A Starry Night” of fun!
Ticket sales will take place during all breaks through this Tuesday, September 26. No tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets are $20 and will include pizza, dessert, and admission to the dance. Outside guests will need to register at the time of ticket purchase. Tickets can only be purchased after students and a parent or guardian have signed off on the student handbook which you can do by clicking below.
Thank you to the student council and Ms. Swenson for coming up with a great spirit week and all of their hard work planning a wonderful homecoming.
Leading up to homecoming weekend come and cheer on your Nipmuc athletic teams and show your Nipmuc pride.

Another Memorable Visit from National Defense University
Last week, Nipmuc hosted more than 100 international fellows from the National Defense University (NDU) in Washington, D.C. This marked the seventh time that this group of future diplomats from across the globe visited Nipmuc to get a taste of American education and have the chance to meet with and shadow American teenagers during the school day.
Watching the students engage with these highly ranked diplomats learning from one another was a wonderful experience where many students have already asked how they can sign up to do this again next year.

For colleges, StriveScan’s format leverages the draw of multiple institutions within each session, resulting in increased student interest.
