HOMECOMING WEEK 2023
Homecoming 2023
It was a fantastic homecoming weekend for our students! Friday night we had a packed gym for the “Dig Pink” volleyball game. Our squad pulled out a victory in five sets over Hopedale. The volunteer parents were wonderful and kept the fans happy between sets by hosting a pasta dinner in the cafeteria.
On Saturday morning the boys soccer team tied Hopedale in the early game at Grafton. The girls soccer team celebrated senior day with a win against Hopedale. In the afternoon our football team improved to 3-1 with a victory against St. Bernard’s. Other homecoming week action included wins for field hockey on Thursday and Friday, a tough 1-point loss for golf against Uxbridge, an awesome unified basketball game on Wednesday day, and a cross country invitational on Saturday.
We wrapped up the weekend with students enjoying the annual homecoming dance. The decorations were fantastic; the DJ got high ratings; and the kids had an awesome time. It was a week to remember filled with Nipmuc pride!
Thank You to the Nipmuc Student Council!

School Advisory Council
We are looking for several parents/caregivers and community members to join our School Advisory Council (SAC). As shared by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, school council is a representative, school building-based committee composed of the principal, parents/caregivers, teachers, community members, and, at the secondary level, students. The SAC assists the principals in reflecting on programming, shaping school goals, and guiding teaching and learning. Feel free to reach out to nipmucprincipals@mursd.org if you are interested in joining this team.

Media Center Internships
Please welcome Audrey Clish as well!
"Hi I’m Audrey Clish I am a senior here at Nipmuc. I decided to do the media center internship because I have a lot of fun ideas to make the media center more of an inclusive environment for kids that are trying to study. Also kids that just want to sit in the media center to just read a book and have it be a quiet enjoyable place for them. Last year I did a VHS class in the media center and was able to have a very good relationship with the teacher that worked in the media center she always checked in and made sure everything was going well. I hope everyone can enjoy the media center the way I do!"
