Wellness Week This Week
Winter Wellness Week is here! The purpose of Wellness Week is to spread awareness of wellness practices, promote healthy lifestyles, and learn ways to cope with and decrease stress. The Nipmuc School Counselors have special wellness activities planned throughout this week including two days of advisory activities and a guest speaker. This past weekend and next weekend will be our “Wind-down Weekend,” with no homework assigned, so students can focus on spending time with family/friends and self-care. Check out the flyer below to learn about the activities students will be participating in this week's Wellness Week.
Welcome to Nipmuc!
We are excited that our Spanish exchange students from Divina Pastora School in León, Spain arrived last night and met their host families for their visit over the next two weeks. Thank you to Sra. Soto for all of her hard work organizing this visit as our guests have so many wonderful experiences and adventures ahead. Thank you to our host families and students that made this opportunity possible. This morning we kicked off their official "first day of school" welcome by having them and their host Nipmuc students meet in the media center to get to know one another with Dunkin Donuts of course!

Help change the lives of youths in need this holiday season!
Many underprivileged young athletes are unable to participate in sports due to a shortfall of sports equipment that many youth sports programs are facing. Tyler Bevan, a Nipmuc Senior is running a drive to collect gently used sports gear and equipment that will help make a lasting difference in the lives and dreams of many athletes! Please bring your gently used gear (football, baseball, soccer and basketball) to the collection site in the high school lobby from December 4th to 8th. Please see flyer for specific items being accepted at this time.
Toys for Tots
The holidays are fast approaching and Upton's VFW has placed a Toys For Tots box at Nipmuc Regional High School. Please stop by and drop a new, unwrapped toy into the box to help make a child’s holiday a little brighter. The final day for collection will be Tuesday, December 5.
