Find a COVID-19 Vaccine

CDC now recommends adults ages 65 years and older receive an additional dose of the updated 2023-2024 COVID-19 vaccine. See the CDC announcement.

Everyone 6 months and older is eligible to receive an updated COVID-19 vaccine. Learn more about staying up to date with your vaccines.

COVID-19 vaccines are available in the Fairfax Health District. Here are ways to find a vaccine:

1Visit vaccines.gov to find a COVID-19 vaccine near you.

COVID-19 vaccines are widely available from many providers, including pharmacies, medical providers, hospitals, across the Health District.

Use vaccines.gov to search for locations that offer COVID-19 vaccines and then schedule directly with any provider. Some locations may also accept walk-ins.

Health care providers around the Fairfax Health District are offering COVID-19 vaccines. Reach out to your provider for information and an appointment.

 

3Get a COVID-19 vaccine from the Health Department.

Residents who are unable to access a vaccine in the community may call the Fairfax County Call Center at 703-246-7100 to make an appointment at one of the Health Department’s district office clinics.
