Reminders for Graduation Practice & Ceremony
I am looking forward to our practices and graduation ceremony this week. Below is a list of things that you will need to be aware of for both Tuesday and Thursday. Based on the current weather outlook, we will be holding our graduation ceremony at the football stadium!
Tuesday, May 23: (Reminder - Graduation practice is required in order to participate in graduation on Thursday. Only a few exceptions are allowed, such as participating in another event, and representing FHS at the same time. For example, participating in a League tournament.)
- Senior Breakfast @ 8:00 am in the cafeteria, sign yearbook inserts (being handed out at the breakfast).
- Cap/Gown distribution starting no later than 8:30 am
- Just so you know - There are A LOT of obligations that have not been taken care of; in order to receive your cap and gown, you will have to return all items or pay for them in order to receive your cap and gown.
- Class photo and class meeting in the gym at 9:00 am ( you will need your cap and tassel, but not your gown.)
- Graduation practice to follow the class meeting at the Football Stadium.
- The length of time to get through graduation practice is entirely dependent on how well we do as a collective group with our practice. Expect us to have 4 or 5 run-throughs of the graduation ceremony. My goal is to be done by 12 pm.
- OPTIONAL: Elementary school clap outs if you attended an FHS elementary school. These will begin at 3:05 pm - 4:00 pm
- There is no specific dress code for Tuesday (School appropriate attire), just be comfortable because we will be outside for a few hours and it may be cooler temps. Wear comfortable shoes.

- 6:00 pm Graduates report to the main gym for the lineup
- 6:30 pm Graduation Ceremony begins and is expected to last approximately 90 minutes.
- Livestream will be available and a link will be sent out on Thursday.

- Thursday Evening:
Girls: dress shoes with a dress, skirt, or dress slacks look best. Boys: dress shoes with dark trousers, a collared shirt (required), and a tie looks best. Blue jeans, shorts, tennis shoes, flip-flops, or slides are NOT appropriate.
