Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! I am thrilled to begin this journey with you. We have been working hard to establish our positive expectations and get the year off to a great start. We have several upcoming events that we are excited to share with you. First we have our annual Back to School Bash on August 25. Come and enjoy our party on the playground! We will also be having our BeaverMAIN-ia fundraiser starting September 1. This is the only PTO fundraiser for the school year and we use those funds for many amazing things around our school.
I have enjoyed getting to know each of your children. They are so special and we hold the trust you place in us as their educators in a sacred place. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

School Safety Procedures for Morning Car Riders
For the safety of all students and staff members:
- Please pull as far forward as possible to allow the maximum amount of students to be unloaded at one time.
- Please do not pass other cars in line unless directed to do so safely by a staff member.
- Please try to have your child exit the car on the left side, closest to the building.
- Please let your child out at any point past where the double blue line starts (next to the air conditioning unit.)

Hope everyone is having a great start to the new school year! Main PTO has a full schedule of fun planned for everyone to enjoy!
August
We’re starting off the year with a party - a playground party! Don’t miss out on the Welcome Back Bash on Friday, August 25th on the playground.
September
September means the return of our annual BeaverMAIN-ia fundraiser! This is our one and only fundraiser of the year. Fundraising dates will be September 1-17. All students will run the obstacle course during the school day on Friday, September 22nd. More info coming soon!
PTO Meeting - Our first PTO meeting of the year will be on Tuesday, September 12th at 6:30 p.m. ALL parents/guardians of Main students are an important part of PTO. Come join us to hear about what PTO does at Main, the events ahead, and ways you can be involved!
Movie Night will be held on Friday, September 29th behind the school. Movie will begin when it gets dark. Brink your lawn chairs, blankets, snacks, etc… This is a reschedule from our rain cancellation last May. More info coming soon!
1st Week of School at Main
Attendance & Office Information
To report an absence or late arrival, please call the absence line, 937-429-7588 option 1 - or send an email to mainattendance@gocreek.org. Include your child’s name, teacher & reason for the absence or late arrival. Please bring or send in doctor/dentist notes from appointments within 5 school days when your child returns to school.
When sending correspondence by email to teachers regarding absences, late arrivals, early dismissals, and changes in daily transportation, please include our office staff at mainattendance@gocreek.org. Please notify the office no later than 3:00pm with any last minute changes for afternoon dismissal, limiting changes to emergency situations or medical appointments.
All parents, guardians, and visitors will need to check in at the security window first before entering the building and to sign students in and out of school. Please have your government issued ID and present this at the check in window. All visitors who will be coming into the main building will need to have their driver's license scanned at the window.
If you receive a missed call from Main, please take a few moments to check your voicemail. Most times there is no emergency, and someone has left you a message. The office does not know where to direct your call if you call back immediately without first checking your message.
When sending notes, lunch money and misc. payments to school, please include your child’s first and last name, the date, and the teacher’s name. For payments, also include what the check/cash is for.
Limit the bringing of items forgotten by students to urgent items. Items must be left on the cart in the vestibule. Stickers are provided to label items with student name and homeroom.
To put money on your child’s lunch account, pay by card online at: https://payschoolscentral.com. To pay by cash or check (payable to Beavercreek City Schools), send payment in an envelope with your child’s first & last name, teacher name & mark “lunch money”.
