A Short Week Filled with School Spirit this Week
On Wednesday, students will come to school wearing their class colors and spend the morning listening to a motivational speaker, competing as a class in different fun events, and participating in minute-to-win-it games. We end the day with a school-wide pep rally.
As a reminder, dismissal time on Wednesday is 10:45am.

COVID-19 Voluntary Testing Program After the Holidays
Recently, DESE provided all school districts in the state with an opportunity to receive at-home COVID-19 test kits for their school community. These tests are intended for use by students and staff to support the return to school process after Thanksgiving and winter breaks. This is a voluntary testing program and is not required prior to your child’s return. If you choose to participate, DESE recommends that tests be used no sooner than 24 hours prior to returning to school after these holiday breaks.
Each student and staff member will receive one iHealth test kit to take home on Tuesday, November 22nd. Each kit contains two COVID-19 tests. If you choose not to participate, please feel free to donate the test kit to someone else or dispose of it. Should your child test positive, please contact the school nurse to review the isolation protocols and determine a return to school date.
Thank you for your continued support in keeping our school community healthy.
Winter Wellness Week is Coming!
Winter Wellness Week is coming soon! The purpose of Wellness Week is to spread awareness of wellness practices, promote healthy lifestyles, and learn ways to cope with and decrease stress. Our hope is that spreading awareness of wellness practices will result in healthier minds and bodies for our Nipmuc community. The Center for Disease Control's Division of Adolescent and School Health provides evidence that shows a strong link between the health of students and academic success. Healthy students are better learners, and successful students create healthy communities in the future! Wellness Week is an opportunity to relax and have some fun while learning skills to improve individual wellness. Check out the calendar of events below.
