3 Year Old Kindergarten (3K)

Child is 3 years old ON or BEFORE Sept. 1

4 Year Old Kindergarten (4K)

Child is 4 years old ON or BEFORE Sept. 1

5 Year Old Kindergarten (5K)

Child is 5 years old ON or BEFORE Sept. 1

3-Year-Old and 4-Year Old Kindergarten Enrollment Information

Attention Parents/Guardians: Registration for PreK opens on January 11, 2024. If you have completed any form prior to January 11, 2024 it will be incomplete.

The School District of Pickens County offers full day needs-based 3-year-old and 4-year-old kindergarten programs. After initial enrollment, students must meet eligibility requirements to participate in a program.

While 4-year-old kindergarten is offered at each elementary school, 3-year-old kindergarten space is limited.

Three-year-old kindergarten programs are offered in the following areas of the district:

  • Daniel Area: Six Mile Elementary

  • Easley Area: Crosswell Elementary and East End Elementary

  • Liberty Area: Liberty Primary

  • Pickens Area: Dacusville Elementary and Hagood Elementary

School Calendar & Student Parent Handbook

The 2023-2024 School Calendar is posted on our website.  Meet the Teacher schedules will be posted online later in the year.  We will provide detailed information regarding your school’s orientation meeting and beginning of the year schedule once your child has qualified.
