Wellness Week
Winter Wellness Week was a great success last week. Thank you again to the school counseling team that worked hard to bring this together for the students. The purpose of Wellness Week is to spread awareness of wellness practices, promote healthy lifestyles, and learn ways to cope with and decrease stress. Students enjoyed everything from hot tea and music during breaks in the lobby to going on walks, doing yoga, visiting with service dogs and playing some sports during advisory.

A Busy First Week for our Spanish Exchange Visitors
Our Spanish exchange students from Divina Pastora School in León, Spain had an exciting first week while visiting the United States. They started the week with the welcome gathering their first day meeting many Nipmuc students and faculty members. They also enjoyed a welcome evening event where all of the host families met in the cafeteria to get to know one another. The students visited Fenway Park in Boston and Old Sturbridge Village to see all the lights at night. They have also been busy shadowing their Nipmuc host students and learning about education in the U.S.
Thank you again to Sra. Soto for all of her hard work organizing this. Thank you to our host families and students for opening your homes for these two weeks to our guests and having this wonderful opportunity come to fruition. We hope everyone enjoys the week ahead filled with more adventures and learning.

If you missed last week's choral concert there are still two concerts to see this week. Come listen to the talented musicians across the district. Each concert begins at 7pm in the Nipmuc Auditorium.

We look forward to seeing you there.

They have asked Mr. Kelly if they could conduct a survey. As a thank you for taking the time to give them your honest feedback, you will be entered in a drawing for a $10 gift card to Dunkin. Get your survey entered by Wednesday 12/13/23 to be entered into the drawing. And don’t forget, share what you’ve learned with everyone you know! It could save a life. You can find the survey here.
