Nipmuc Art Show
The Nipmuc Art Show opens this week on Wednesday, May 24 from 6-8pm. The art show is a collection of over 800 works of art from our talented artists and is a juried show with awards presented in multiple categories. The show will take place in the Nipmuc gymnasium. All students and families are welcome to come and see all of works of art on display.
Thank you to Ms. Clish and Mr. Campbell for all of their hard work putting this annual show together. We look forward to seeing you there this week.
Civics Symposium this Week
You are invited to the Second Annual Nipmuc Civics Symposium taking place on Friday, May 26, from 8am-11am in the Nipmuc gymnasium.
The state of Massachusetts has developed a state-wide civics project for which “The primary purpose of a history and social science education is to prepare students to have the knowledge and skills to become thoughtful and active participants in a democratic society and a complex world.” (Massachusetts Department Of Education)
At Nipmuc, all juniors participate in the Civics Action Project. Students choose a topic that they are passionate about and work on it through the course of the school year to be civically engaged and create meaningful change in their world. Along with research, surveys, and community connections, the final part of the process includes showcasing their work at the Civics Symposium.
We encourage you to attend to witness what our Nipmuc Regional High School students have to offer today and in the future!

Inspired Learning Day - June 14
On June 14, we will host our next Inspired Learning Day! These days are full-day learning events where we provide learning opportunities and sessions that will tap into students’ interests and excitement.
Based on student feedback, we have redesigned this day with 23 options! You’ll find a wide range of sessions on topics including AI, sports marketing, entrepreneurship, college prep, drones, culture, cuisine, and much more! Review the full list of on and off-campus sessions here.
This morning during first block all students signed up for their top three choices with the hope that we will be able to get as many students as possible into their first choice.
We are grateful for the grant support from DESE’s Deeper Learning Grant that will help to support these learning experiences for our students.
We encourage you to talk about the sessions at home. We are excited to make this a fantastic day for our students!
