K-3Spanish w/ Mr. VillellaThis enrichment program will provide elementary students (K-3) an opportunity to gain introductory skills in Spanish. Skills that will be obtained in this program will include: learning basic phrases, numbers, colors, etc. as well as increased competency in cultural understanding. This art camp will teach techniques using a variety of different materials, teach tools that the learners can use to hone their creativity, their critical thinking skills, and explore social issues important to them. It will provide a safe space for students to explore and experiment artistically. Most importantly artists of all skill levels will have a place to have fun and learn about art! Projects include: designing a logo, designing a dream room and a self portrait. Students should bring a lunch, snacks and water

4-5Gaming w/ Mr. WhitmanTo create a Summerenrichment program centered around the game,
“Dungeonsand Dragons”, which can be used as a tool to encourage the development of social
and emotional skills and learning, as well as emphasize the use and practice of math & ELA
skills integrated into the game. "Students will learn how to play the game, as well as some basic skills to help them run their own game in the future"

4-5Grow a Garden w/ Mrs. McGee and Mr. TurnerThis enrichment project would enable students to focus on content using critical thinking skills, communication and collaboration and certainly be a project that would be ongoing over an extended period of time. Planning, designing, growing , maintaining and harvesting while working together will be critical in order to make the garden (a real world authentic experience) a success. Most importantly, the garden´s specifics would be selected by students and would provide opportunities for reflection and revision as the growing season continues.

4-5Fun and Games w/ Mr. TurnerThis enrichment will include outdoor activities such as ultimate frisbee, soccer, capture the flag, 4 Square and general use of the playground as well as other activities based on student interest (if the kids come up with an idea I am happy to run it for them). Students should bring plenty of water, snacks and sunscreen.
